Job summary

Utopia is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (FF&E) to oversee the full lifecycle of procurement, logistics and installation for our hospitality projects in Cape Town. This role combines factory coordination, logistics management, and on-site execution, including deliveries to remote locations.

You will work with an international, multidisciplinary team to ensure on-time delivery, quality control at the factory, and seamless site readiness, with autonomy in a fast-growing global company.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or FF&E.
• Background in hospitality or high-end residential projects.
• Experience with factory coordination, QC, and international logistics.
• Strong understanding of site logistics and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FF&E production and conduct quality control at factory level
• Manage international logistics, storage, and inventory tracking
• Coordinate deliveries, including complex last-mile logistics (remote or hard-to-access locations)
• Supervise loading/unloading, equipment, and transport planning
• Ensure accurate documentation, dispatch, and receiving processes
• Work closely with construction teams on delivery timelines and site readiness
• Coordinate and supervise installation teams on-site
