Utopia is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (FF&E) to oversee procurement, logistics, and installation for hospitality projects in Cape Town.

This role combines factory coordination, international logistics, and on-site execution, including deliveries to remote locations and last-mile challenges. You will collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely, accurate processes and seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or FF&E.
• Background in hospitality or high-end residential projects.
• Experience with factory coordination, QC, and international logistics.
• Strong understanding of site logistics and installation processes.
• Ability to manage complex or remote project environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FF&E production and conduct quality control at factory level.
• Manage international logistics, storage, and inventory tracking.
• Coordinate deliveries, including complex last-mile logistics (remote or hard-to-access locations).
• Supervise loading/unloading, equipment, and transport planning.
• Ensure accurate documentation, dispatch, and receiving processes. Work closely with construction teams on delivery timelines and site readiness.
• Coordinate and supervise installation teams on-site.
