Utopia in Cape Town is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join our boutique hospitality development team. You will plan, coordinate, and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met on-site.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and procurement teams, producing regular reports and maintaining documentation. The role focuses on construction execution, contractor management, and schedule delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in construction project coordination/management.
• Experience working for construction companies or contractors.
• Knowledge of procurement, tender management, contract administration, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards; provide regular reports.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet project requirements.
• Support procurement by obtaining quotes and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation: reports, schedules, and meeting minutes.
