The role requires exceptional artistic skill, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of flavor profiles. You will design menus, manage inventory and costs, train junior staff, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in fine dining, luxury hotel, or high-end catering.
• Exceptional artistic skills in dessert decoration and presentation.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor pairings.
• Strong understanding of food costing and inventory management.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Culinary certifications or formal training in pastry arts are highly desirable in Paarl.
