Job summary

IntelliStaff is seeking an experienced Butler/Concierge in Franschhoek to welcome guests with discretion and manage check-in/check-out with valet services. You will tailor itineraries, dining, and activities while maintaining guest preferences with confidentiality.

Excellent English communication and F&B knowledge are essential, along with the ability to work across departments and maintain composure under pressure in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate required.
• Food, Beverage or wine certification advantageous.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Flexibility to assist across multiple departments.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with discretion and correct forms of address.
• Assist with guest check-in/check-out and valet services.
• Unpack and settle guests into rooms, explain facilities.
• Plan itineraries and bookings for restaurants, activities, and excursions.
• Maintain detailed guest preferences with privacy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver requests and follow up.
• Provide in-room dining knowledge and wine pairings.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
