Job summary

Au Pair Extraordinaire in Lonehill is seeking an afternoon caretaker for two boys, aged 3 and 9, with duties including school collection, taking them to after-school activities, and preparing meals. Working hours are Mon–Thurs 14:30–17:30 and Fri 13:00–16:30.

This permanent part-time role requires childcare experience, a reliable car with 18 months driving, two childcare references, a clear criminal record, matric and SA ID.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience within the last 2 years.
• Own a reliable car with at least 18 months driving experience.
• At least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record.
• Must have a passion for children.

Responsibilities

• Collect from school, take to extra murals.
• Prep meals for the children.
• Assist with homework.
• Ensure bags are unpacked and packed for the following day.

Salary

R8100 - R8500 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
