About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Operations Lead to oversee and drive efficiency in their supply chain activities in East London . This leadership role involves managing day-to-day logistics operations, supervising a team, and implementing strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. You will be instrumental in ensuring timely deliveries, managing costs, and maintaining high service levels for clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a comprehensive understanding of logistics, and a passion for continuous improvement within the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of logistics and warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements
