Job summary

Placements24 in Bloemfontein seeks a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and the logistics team. You will implement procedures, optimize layout, and ensure safety compliance to drive efficiency.

The role requires hands-on supervision, strong leadership, and experience with FMCG supply chains to meet performance targets and cost-control objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Experience in inventory management and order fulfilment processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic logistics planning.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; able to work in fast-paced Bloemfontein environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing and shipping.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct stocktakes and ensure accuracy of records.
• Oversee dispatch of goods ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Lead, train and motivate the warehouse and logistics team to meet targets.
• Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
• Optimize layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
