Placements24 is working with a growing agricultural logistics provider in the Paarl region of the Western Cape to hire a Logistics Supervisor. This hybrid role blends hands-on oversight of warehouse and dispatch with strategic planning and remote coordination to support a diverse client base.

You will lead a team of warehouse staff and drivers, optimize routes, manage inventory, and ensure safety, compliance, and timely deliveries of fresh produce.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in logistics, warehousing, or supervisory role.
• Proven inventory management and stock control experience.
• Strong dispatch and transportation logistics knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a team and motivate staff.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Hybrid work capability: on-site supervision and remote coordination.
• Valid driver's license preferred; experience in agricultural logistics is a strong asset.

About the Role

Our client, a growing agricultural logistics provider in the scenic Paarl region of the Western Cape , is looking for a motivated and experienced Logistics Supervisor. This hybrid role requires a hands‑on approach to managing daily warehouse and dispatch operations while also contributing to strategic planning and remote coordination. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee a team of warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring the efficient and safe handling, storage, and transportation of goods, particularly fresh produce. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the supply chain and ensuring timely deliveries to our diverse client base within the agricultural sector and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff and delivery drivers.
