Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Logistics Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Rustenburg-based logistics team. The role combines on-site operational oversight with strategic planning to ensure smooth movement of goods and accurate inventory control.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate shipments, and uphold safety procedures while driving efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management software and relevant IT systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse and logistics personnel.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to maintain accuracy.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to the logistics team.
• Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
