Job summary

Sappi Johannesburg is seeking a Business Process Engineer: Logistics to drive the development of detailed business requirements and coordinate the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of Distribution planning and execution processes.

You will define business requirements for IT solutions, map processes, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with IT to ensure specifications meet business needs and deliver measurable benefits.

Qualifications

ADegree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Information Technology or Industrial Engineering.
5-8 years functional area experience or relevant business experience.
SAP modules: Transportation Management (TM), SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM/WM) & Sales and Distribution (SD).
Previous experience functioning in two or more major SAP IT related projects.
Relevant SAP certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Drive the process of defining business requirements for new IT solutions.
Develop detailed business process flows and include how technology solutions will enable the business processes.
Educate/support business colleagues on current and future system capabilities to drive continuous improvement.
Provide input into system configuration activities and collaborate with IT/solutions partners.
Participate in user acceptance testing and provide feedback on solutions.
Support the business to track benefits of new solutions and review problem logs for root causes.
