Job summary

Sandvik Mining seeks a Junior Logistics Engineer to support the Logistics Engineering function across multiple sites in Africa. You will contribute to continuous improvement, warehouse optimization, and SAP/WMS/TMS initiatives while assisting with data analysis, dashboards, and SOP documentation.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, ERP exposure, and hands-on support for warehouse operations and freight management within a dynamic, regional network.

Qualifications

Degree in supply chain/related field with strong logistics grounding.
University-level understanding of warehouse and distribution management.
Experience with ERP/WMS/TMS systems and data analytics.

Responsibilities

Support daily Logistics Engineering activities across hubs and regions.
Analyse operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs for logistics performance.
Assist SAP, WMS, and TMS enhancement initiatives.
Support implementation and optimisation of WMS/TMS processes.
Prepare process documentation and SOPs for logistics activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on warehouse ops and inventory.
Assist with system testing and UAT for new supply chain solutions.
