Qualifications

  • Manage all warehouse personnel including performance management.
  • Optimize efficient delivery of warehouse services.
  • Coordinate delivery of services with operations.
  • Develop and implement new business processes.
  • Manage Inventory and Distribution activities.
  • Deliver consistent operational and financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control systems, including ISO 9000.
  • Drive World Class performance and CI initiatives.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Commerce in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management.
  • A minimum of 8–10 years’ Operational Management experience within a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ General Management experience in a small to medium Logistics or Manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in implementing WCM and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (SD, PP, and MM modules).
Responsibilities
  • Manage all warehouse personnel, including performance management and employee development.
  • Benchmark, review, and introduce systems to optimise the efficient delivery of warehouse services in a sustainable manner.
  • Coordinate delivery of services with the organisation’s operations to promote synergy and grow so as to provide strategic partnerships that enhance.
  • The development and implementation of new business processes, handling equipment, product packaging, transport equipment, and resourcing as and when required by changes in business requirements or strategic direction.
  • Effective management of Inventory and Distribution activities in and out of the warehouses, including the management of group tenants sharing these facilities.
  • Delivery of consistent, accurate, and on-time reporting, which includes operational and financial analysis highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to all quality control systems, including ISO 9000.
  • Drive the introduction of World Class performance and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate adherence to the PFG business integration planning and ensure order execution.
