You will build high-performing teams, embed safe working practices, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and WCM. Strong collaboration with cross-functional partners and a global mindset are essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering / Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • 3-6 years experience, including 3 years in a people-leader role.
  • Strong background in material supply and handling within assembly environments.
  • Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the logistics function to ensure seamless material flow, inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Inspire and develop high-performing teams, coaching and conducting performance reviews.
  • Foster safety, compliance and a culture of continuous improvement across processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive productivity.

Purpose of the Role

To lead, inspire and optimise the logistics function by ensuring seamless material flow, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency in alignment with business objectives. This role is responsible for developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and support customer success. The position serves as the key link between logistics and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring compliance, collaboration and innovation across all processes.

Reporting: This position reports to Logistics & Fitment Centre Manager.

Job Objectives
Leadership & People Development
  • Provide clear direction and inspire the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Empower and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on diversity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Develop succession plans and identify future leaders to ensure long-term organizational capability.
  • Maintain strong industrial relations in line with labor regulations.
Safety, Environment, Compliance & Workplace Standards
  • Champion a zero-accident safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Promote ergonomic workplace design through continuous improvements efforts.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Act as the primary link between the logistics dept and relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely updates on material flow and risks.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align strategies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Represent logistics in cross-functional meetings to influence decisions and align with business objectives.
Inventory & Material Management
  • Responsible for the entire Logistics value flow to ensure smooth supply of parts to the assembly line.
  • Lead in material types managements networks such as PDS/Kit conversions, local parts, etc…
  • Oversee inventory processes: goods receipt, unpacking, storage, line-feeding, and scrapping. Manage deviation material (DCNs, AFAs, UCRs, etc…) and related documentation.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy across all systems through robust controls and reconciliation.
  • Responsible for inventory control techniques (cycle counting, stock counts, ABC analysis, Kanban, etc…) to prevent shortages or excess.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor material flow and resolve bottlenecks using logistics systems.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency through Lean, Six Sigma, and WCM methodologies.
  • Identify automation and process optimization opportunities to reduce waste and manual handling.
Documentation & Resource Management
  • Maintain accurate documentation (timesheets, stock transactions, operational reports) for compliance and transparency.
  • Manage resource allocation and workload balancing with Engineering.

Qualification & Job Experience
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering / Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • 3-6 Years experience, (3 as a People Leader).
  • Strong background in material supply and handling within assembly environments.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma concept, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & SAP.
Key Competencies
  • Analytical skills with experience in data visualization and reporting (Power BI, etc…).
  • Familiarity with AI technologies for process optimization.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and work in a cross functional organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and change management capabilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.
  • Adaptability to dynamic environments and global collaboration.
