Job summary

Primeserv Denverdraft seeks a Logistics Controller to plan, execute and manage commercial vehicle deliveries and drivers in line with performance standards. You will coordinate with leadership, manage cross-border activities and optimize costs while maintaining accurate data and reporting.

Ideal candidate has extensive logistics/project management experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required with extensive logistics/project management experience.
• BCom in Logistics Management is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent data analysis and organizational skills.
• Excellent English communication; Zulu/isiXhosa skills advantageous.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; cross-border procedures knowledge.
• Ability to document quality processes and present to stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage vehicle deliveries and drivers per standards.
• Optimize driver availability for maximum efficiency.
• Manage operational processes and documentation.
• Maintain Vehicle Delivery Tracking System records.
• Perform cross border planning and cost control.
• Coordinate with Account Executive and Fleet Controller for queries.
• Analyze data such as fuel consumption and logistics metrics.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure tracking device checks.
• Communicate effectively with Operations staff and management.
