Placements24 is seeking a diligent Logistics Coordinator in George, Western Cape. You will coordinate daily logistics, manage transport schedules, and maintain carrier communications to keep goods flowing smoothly from supplier to customer.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in logistics, with TMS/WMS familiarity, strong organization, and proactive problem‑solving. You will contribute to creating efficient processes in a collaborative, growth‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or National Diploma in Logistics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination.
• Familiarity with TMS and WMS systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Must reside in or be able to commute to George, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily logistics operations, including shipment scheduling and tracking.
• Liaise with transportation providers to negotiate rates and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management within the warehouse system.
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
• Resolve any logistical issues or discrepancies that may arise during transit or delivery.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners regarding shipment status.
• Assist in the development and implementation of logistics procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and prepare regular performance reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
