About the Role

You will be the central point of contact for drivers, clients, and internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and problem resolution. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily transportation routes, ensuring optimal efficiency and timely deliveries for a fleet of vehicles.
• Track shipments in real-time, proactively identifying and resolving any potential delays or issues.
• Manage driver assignments, ensuring compliance with schedules, route plans, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, delivery confirmations, and operational costs using the company's logistics software.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns or special requests.
• Liaise with warehouse personnel and other stakeholders to ensure smooth loading and unloading processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in the transport or supply chain industry.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and tools (e.g., TMS systems).
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, route planning, and dispatch operations within South Africa .
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• A valid driver's license and own reliable transport to the Midrand office is preferred.
