Job summary

Route Management in Johannesburg is seeking a hands-on Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations, including coordinating drivers, trucks and trailers, loading activities and operational administration. The role focuses on ensuring efficient fleet utilisation and service delivery within the Germiston area.

The candidate will liaise with drivers, loading points, warehouses and internal departments, monitor fleet movements, and coordinate maintenance and reporting to keep transport

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport, fleet, logistics or operations supervision.
• Strong understanding of truck and trailer operations.
• Computer literate with the ability to work on logistics, fleet or transport management systems.
• Ability to track and monitor trailer utilisation and allocate trailers accurately to vehicles and drivers.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities
