Qualifications

• Experience in transport, fleet, logistics or operations supervision.
• Strong understanding of truck and trailer operations.
• Computer literacy with the ability to work on logistics systems.
• Ability to track trailer utilisation and allocate trailers accurately

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily truck, driver and trailer movements.
• Ensure vehicles and drivers are assigned to the correct routes and loading points.
• Monitor fleet and trailer movements through tracking systems.
• Liaise with drivers, loading points, warehouses and internal departments.
• Coordinate loading, offloading and yard activities.
• Manage trailer allocations and utilisation within Johannesburg operations.
• Monitor and update trailer assignments on the transport management system to ensure accurate allocation of trailers to drivers and trucks.
• Capture and maintain operational data and completed trips.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs and follow-up actions.
• Manage operational administration and reporting requirements.
