SGS Randfontein is seeking a login clerk to log received samples into SLIMS, print labels, and ensure proper sorting before labeling and boxing. The role requires following quality directives and reporting issues to the appropriate supervisor.

Ideal candidates will have strong English communication, experience with SLIMS, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and safety in a busy lab receiving area.

Responsabilidades

• Log received samples into the SLIMS using work orders from the client.
• Print sample labels.
• Ensure samples are sorted correctly before labeling and boxing the samples.
• Follow all quality directives of this Department.
• Bring all problems to the attention of the Senior Administration and Logistics Supervisor.
• Adhere to all quality, health, and safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure housekeeping in the receiving area is in order.
• Comply with Laboratory Quality Management System (ISO17025).
• Report immediately any equipment not functioning correctly to the Logistics Supervisor.
• Work in other areas/divisions if asked to do so.
• Adhere to all SGS quality and safety requirements.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the direct line manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

To outline the responsibilities and authorities of the login clerk at SGS Randfontein.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility to log received samples into the SLIMS using work orders from the client.
• Responsibility to print sample labels.
• Responsibility to ensure samples are sorted correctly before labeling and boxing the samples.
• Responsibility for following all quality directives of this Department.
• Responsibility to bring all problems (technical and managerial) to the attention of the Senior Administration and Logistics Supervisor
• Responsibility to adhere to all quality, health, and safety rules and regulations.
• Responsibility to ensure that the housekeeping in the receiving area is in order.
• Comply with and conform to the Laboratory Quality Management System (ISO17025).
• Report immediately any equipment that is not functioning correctly to the Logistics Supervisor
• Responsible for working in other areas and/or Divisions if asked to do so.
• Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the direct line manager.

• Competent in logging samples and working with CClas.
• Able to interact with clients, personally or via e-mail.

• Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines
• Ability to prioritize activities and be flexible to adjust to a variety of situations
