Job summary

Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd is recruiting a Lodge Manager to lead end-to-end lodge operations including guest experience, HR, Admin and finances. The role requires guiding a diverse team, managing budgets, and ensuring service excellence across FOH, kitchen, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in lodge management, strong leadership, and experience with Nightsbridge/Extranets, marketing and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years lodge working experience, with 4–5 star properties an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Extensive lodge operations experience covering HR, Admin, Finance, FOH, Guest Experience and basic kitchen knowledge.
• Able to receive instruction and follow processes.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with guests, staff and external stakeholders.
• Familiar with Nightsbridge Booking platform and Extranets.
• Understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Marketing and social media experience.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Lead by example and drive the lodge to its full potential.
• Ability to operate independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Lodge Management including HR, Admin, Finance, FOH and Guest Experience.
• Coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen operations, and vendor management.
• Lead a diverse team and ensure guest satisfaction across all touchpoints.
• Monitor budgets and cost controls, and optimize spend.
• Plan and execute marketing and social media initiatives to promote the lodge.
