Placements24 is seeking a Local Delivery & Merchandising Driver to service Upington, Northern Cape. You will combine delivery duties with in-store merchandising to ensure products are delivered on time and presented well at retail points of sale.

Demonstrates a valid SA driver’s license, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills. The role offers a hybrid model with field work and some depot/remote tasks from a local location.

Qualifications

• Valid South African driver’s license (Code B or higher).
• Minimum of 2 years in delivery driving and/or field merchandising.
• Clean driving record with no significant infringements.
• Good knowledge of Upington, Northern Cape area.
• Ability to lift and stock products up to 20 kg.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work a hybrid model with field and office/remote tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a light commercial delivery vehicle safely to deliver products to retail customers.
• Plan daily delivery routes in the Upington region to ensure timely service.
• Load and unload products and ensure correct quantities.
• Execute in-store merchandising tasks including stocking shelves and displays.
• Maintain relationships with store managers and staff at client locations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain delivery records, sales orders and merchandising reports.
• Handle cash and card payments from customers accurately.
• Participate in team meetings or administrative tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a light commercial delivery vehicle safely and efficiently to deliver products to various retail customers.
• Plan daily delivery routes within the Upington, Northern Cape region to ensure timely service.

• Execute in-store merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product placement meets company standards.

Requirements
