Our client, a reputable wholesale distributor serving the retail sector across the Northern Cape, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dedicated Driver to manage the transport of goods to various client locations in and around Upington, Northern Cape. This hybrid role requires a driver who is comfortable with both on-road responsibilities and occasional remote coordination for route planning or administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle to transport wholesale goods to retail stores in and around Upington, Northern Cape.
• Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of merchandise.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Plan daily delivery routes efficiently to meet customer schedules.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documentation.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Provide professional and courteous service to retail clients.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and management, including potential remote check-ins or updates.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 (C1) or Code 14 (EC) driver's license with a PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Minimum of 4 years of professional driving experience, with at least 2 years in goods transportation.

• Good knowledge of the road network within Upington, Northern Cape and surrounding towns.
