Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of delivery driving experience in FMCG or retail distribution.

• Good knowledge of Paarl, Stellenbosch and the Western Cape road network.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy goods.

Our client, a major player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Local Delivery Driver to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape. This role is integral to ensuring that our client's products reach retail outlets and customers efficiently and in optimal condition. We are looking for a reliable individual with a strong work ethic, excellent knowledge of the Paarl and surrounding Western Cape road networks, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. The driver will be responsible for operating a delivery vehicle, managing inventory during transit, and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and excellent customer interaction skills, representing our client positively within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle (e.g., light to medium commercial trucks) for daily routes.
• Deliver FMCG products to various retail locations and customer sites according to schedule.
• Ensure correct loading and unloading of goods, maintaining product quality and preventing damage.
