Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Route Driver for the Benoni, Gauteng region to deliver FMCG products to a variety of retail outlets on predefined daily routes. The role emphasizes reliable scheduling, safe driving, and professional customer interaction.

You will load and unload, perform pre-trip checks, maintain vehicle condition, and report issues promptly. A valid Code 10/C1 license with PDP is preferred; 2 years delivery experience is expected; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required; PDP is highly advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of delivery driver experience, preferably FMCG or retail distribution.
• Good knowledge of the Benoni and surrounding Gauteng road network.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and perform loading/unloading.
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently; background check may be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Operate a light to medium commercial vehicle on a predefined daily route in Benoni.
• Load and unload goods with careful handling and accurate order fulfillment.
