Smith Nephew in Durban is seeking an inventory technician responsible for loan set and inventory management, kit preparation, filling and maintenance, and ensuring returns are checked and logged in the system.

You will keep safety stock, replenish kits, and ensure deliveries and returns occur on schedule. Matric and a supply degree or diploma are required.

What will you be doing?

The role is responsible for all functions related to Loan set/Inventory management. This involves kit preparation, kit filling, kit maintenance, washing of instrumentation, checking of instrumentation, ordering of inventory for loan set requirements, as well as reverse logistics and ensuring physical checking of all returns and updating on the computer system.
