Job summary

BKB Ltd is seeking an energetic Loadmaster to join our team in the Wes-Kaap region. The candidate will handle receipt, loading and offloading of livestock, build pens for Special and Stud auctions, and ensure auctions run smoothly.

The role requires strong logistics, admin accuracy, and the ability to manage wages staff, while maintaining vehicle upkeep and fuel efficiency. Afrikaans and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent with senior school certificate.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the Livestock environment.
• Valid EC license and PDP (Public Driver’s Permit).
• Willing to work long hours and travel as required.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans & English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee effective and efficient logistics and administrative processes.
• Load and offload livestock equipment at auctions; build pens.
• Complete and submit proper accounts and offloading tickets.
• Maintain general auction site organization and related functions.
• Manage wages employees and ensure vehicle maintenance per procedures.
• Monitor diesel consumption and ensure cleanliness of company vehicles.
