Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality seeks a hands-on, guest-facing Lodge Receptionist/Operations Assistant based at the lodge. You will deliver personalised service, engage with guests during dining room service, and support the Manager across departments as needs arise.

Requirements include complete fluency in English (written and spoken) and a valid driver’s licence. Live-in accommodation with meals and laundry are provided; salary starts from R9,000 per month with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English essential.
• Valid driver’s licence essential.
• Experience in lodge/hospitality across front desk, guest relations, housekeeping or F&B/kitchen oversight.
• Knowledge of SEMPER reservations system is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day reception and front desk operations.
• Assist the Manager across departments as required.
• Engage warmly with guests, particularly during dining room service.
• Relieve in various departments (kitchen, housekeeping, reservations) when needed.
• Handle reservations, including use of the SEMPER system where applicable.
• Oversee stock control processes.
• Support staff management and general lodge administration.
