Job summary

Overview

Our client, a leading company in the maintenance and mechanical industry, is seeking a dedicated Lift Technician to join their team in the Port Region of Malta. Duties
  • Service, inspect, and maintain elevators and escalators in compliance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications

  • Assist with electrical and mechanical installations, system adjustments, and equipment alignment

  • Test, commission, and certify hydraulic and traction elevators and escalator systems

  • Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities to optimise system performance

  • Upgrade equipment components, controllers, and software systems as needed

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and service requests

  • Investigate client-reported issues and collaborate with supervisors to develop effective solutions

  • Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and customer satisfaction

  • Perform additional technical duties related to lift and escalator systems as required
