Job summary

Sanlam Life Ltd in Cape Town seeks driven Sales Consultants to join our LIFE environment. You will drive growth by converting leads, maintain relationships with financial advisors, and present suitable product solutions while balancing targets with compliance.

You will engage in prospecting, upselling, and managing the sales pipeline; English and another SA official language are required, with a Grade 12 or Diploma and a clear record. The role starts 1 February 2027.

Qualifications

• Outbound Sales experience is required.
• Fluency in English and one other South African official language.
• A clear criminal and credit record.
• Commitment to the FAIS Act and meeting Fit & Proper qualification requirements.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Make calls to allocated customers to develop new relationships and resolve queries.
• Identify products or services that meet customer needs and present them for purchase.
• Present additional products during service interactions.
• Deliver routine sales support, manage pipelines and forecasting according to protocols.
• Build rapport and establish trust within client buying centers.
