Job summary

• Respond to RMM alerts, investigate and remediate issues proactively.
• Manage backups, patching, and day-to-day IT support for end users.

Job description

Hours: 8am-12pm EST Monday - Friday (2/3pm-6/7pm SAST)

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on MSP technician who can independently manage, troubleshoot, and support IT environments across multiple small business clients.

Required Technical Skills:

• Network and Firewall Administration: Configuration, management, troubleshooting, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and security policies.
• Microsoft 365: Administration of Exchange Online, Entra ID, user accounts, licensing, security, policy configuration and related services.
• RMM Management: Monitoring, investigating, and remediating RMM alerts, including proactive issue resolution.
• Windows Server & Virtualization: Installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper‑V and/or VMware virtual machines.
• General MSP Support: endpoint troubleshooting, backups, patch management, and day‑to‑day client IT support.

Ideal Candidate:

We need someone with solid, practical MSP experience who can hit the ground running with minimal training or supervision. The ideal candidate is resourceful, technically curious, and comfortable diagnosing unfamiliar problems, researching solutions, and resolving issues independently.

Must be able to prioritize work, manage multiple client environments, communicate professionally with clients, and take ownership of problems through resolution.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a capable, self‑sufficient technician with broad technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive mindset.
