Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends.
• Port Elizabeth familiarity and willingness to work on-site in Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Oversee inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of all facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and coordinate procurement.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Implement and maintain operational procedures for cleaning, groundskeeping, and facility upkeep.
