Job summary

Rosebank College, part of The Independent Institute of Education, is seeking a lecturer to teach enterprise architecture and related IT modules. You will track assessments, support student outcomes, and collaborate with the Central Academic Team to identify at-risk modules and ensure quality teaching.

The role requires a Master’s degree in EA/IS or a cognate field, plus lecturing experience in higher education or industry, and familiarity with learning management systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in E.A./IS/IT or related field.
• Two Master’s degrees accepted with IS/IT content.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in EA, systems architecture or related areas.
• Higher education teaching or industry experience in EA or IT disciplines.
• 2–3 years lecturing or tutoring experience.
• 1–3 years industry experience in specialization is advantageous.
• One NQF level higher than the taught qualification.
• Copy of academic transcript required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module pacers.
• Manage resources and consult with Information Centre.
• Update LMS and provide student feedback.
• Prepare students for assessments and identify at-risk students.
• Monitor engagement and assessment submission, escalate as needed.
• Attend and participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on and analyse student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
