Job summary

Rosebank College is seeking an experienced lecturer to teach enterprise architecture, systems architecture and related IT modules. You will track assessments, support student progress, and collaborate with the Central Academic Team to improve module outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, 2–3 years of lecturing experience, and capability with digital learning platforms. Teaching hours and responsibilities are aligned with the module schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in a closely related discipline with Information Systems/Information Technology content.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in enterprise architecture, systems architecture, information systems or related areas.
• Work experience in higher education teaching and/or industry in enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud architecture or technology strategy.
• 2–3 years lecturing or formal tutoring.
• 1–3 years industry-specific experience in the area of specialization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students according to module requirements.
• Manage resources and consult with the Information Centre.
• Update the learning management system and provide student feedback.
• Prepare students for assessments and identify at-risk learners.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submission; escalate as needed.
• Participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on and analyse student module results for improvement.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete academic professional development interventions per cycle to enhance teaching practice.
