Job summary

Rosebank College, part of The IIE, seeks a lecturer to teach an agreed number of hours in enterprise architecture and related IT disciplines, supporting assessments and student progress.

You will track results, engage with the Central Academic Team, and contribute to improving teaching-learning practices. This role requires collaboration across faculties and a commitment to academic excellence. Salary is market related.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Enterprise Architecture or related IT field.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in enterprise architecture or related areas.
• 2–3 years lecturing or formal tutoring.
• 1–3 years industry-specific experience advantageous.
• One NQF level higher than the qualification being taught.
• Copy of academic transcript.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students based on module-specific requirements.
• Manage resources including academic materials and consulting with the Information Centre.
• Update learning management system and provide feedback to students.
• Engage and prepare students for assessments, identify at risk students, and develop assessments.
• Monitor student engagement and assessment submission with escalations.
• Attend and participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on, review, and analyse student module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete a set number of academic professional development interventions per cycle.
