Job summary

Rosebank College, the Independent Institute of Education (The IIE) seeks a lecturer to teach and manage modules, track progress, and support students. You will engage with assessments, monitor at‑risk students, and collaborate with the Central Academic Team to improve module outcomes.

The role requires an Honours degree in education with teaching experience and 1–3 years of lecturing or tutoring, plus potential industry experience. Classes run during standard daytime hours at our Pretoria campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education Honours degree required with school teaching experience.
• 1–3 years of lecturing or tutoring preferred.
• 1–3 years industry-specific experience advantageous.
• Copy of academic transcript to be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures aligned to module requirements and pacing guides.
• Prepare students for assessments and provide timely feedback.
• Update LMS and manage learning resources.
• Collaborate with Central Academic Team on assessments and results.
• Monitor at-risk students and escalate as needed.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties.
• Analyse module results to identify at-risk modules.
• Support ongoing academic/professional development initiatives.
