Job summary

Rohloff Group in Somerset West seeks a Management Training Lead to drive leadership development, certification, and succession across 106 restaurants. You’ll oversee a team of four Management Trainers, guiding training strategy and execution for high-performing leaders.

You’ll partner with Operations, Talent, and L&D to strengthen bench strength, improve capability, and align training with business goals. Valid SA ID and travel flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years' experience in Learning & Development, Operations, Training, Talent Development, or a similar role.
• Certified up to AC level.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop trainers into high-performing, people-focused teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding, operational, leadership, and management training.
• Ensure completion of ARM, RGM, and Area Coach certifications.
• Identify skill, and training gaps in the business and implement development plans.
• Conduct coaching, audits, and in-store assessments to maintain training standards.
• Coach and develop trainers, managers, and restaurant leaders.
• Build succession pipelines for ARM, RGM, and Area Coach roles.
• Ensure leadership readiness and bench strength across the business.
• Align training with customer experience, audits, labour, and operational targets.
• Drive training readiness and team capability for new store openings.
