The ideal candidate has 4+ years in warehouse operations, including 2+ years in supervision, and a strong grasp of inventory control and safety standards. A logistics-related degree is advantageous, with a focus on efficiency and team development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics and supply chain principles.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in warehouse environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff with guidance and performance feedback.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Enforce health and safety regulations in the warehouse.
• Optimize layout and workflows for efficiency and space utilization.
• Operate and manage the WMS to track inventory and orders.
• Monitor productivity and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales and transport teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory or orders.
• Contribute to budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
