Job summary

Talent Candey is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a major warehouse expansion in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The role oversees design-to-handover, including budgets, risks, health and safety, and coordination with architects, engineers and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years in construction/project management, with a proven ability to manage live facilities and ensure business continuity during expansion.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Science or related discipline.
• 8–10+ years' relevant construction/project management experience with track record of delivering significant projects.
• Experience managing main contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Take overall accountability for the warehouse expansion project delivery.
• Develop and manage construction programme, budget, milestones and critical path.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors and authorities.
• Ensure health and safety, quality standards and business continuity during construction.
• Drive project handover, commissioning and snagging in a live facility.
