Job summary

First Degree Recruitment is seeking an experienced BSI Workshop Controller for a professional motor dealership in Pretoria. The role focuses on coordinating daily workshop activities, scheduling services and repairs, and allocating workloads to technicians to maintain smooth operations.

You will track work-in-progress (WIP), liaise with service advisors and parts staff, and ensure accurate job cards and timely repair turnaround. A strong technical background and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a BSI Workshop Controller.
• Experience working within corporate dealerships and brands such as VW, Ford, Kia, Mazda, etc.
• Strong technical background in vehicles or mechanics.
• Excellent attention to detail and good administrative skills.
• Clear criminal record.
• Grade 12.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations and workflow of the workshop.
• Schedule vehicle services and repairs.
• Allocate workloads to technicians according to workshop requirements.
• Track and manage WIP to ensure efficient repair turnaround times.
• Liaise closely with service advisors, technicians and parts staff.
• Monitor workshop progress and ensure jobs remain on schedule.
• Ensure job cards are completed accurately and updated throughout the repair process.
• Assist in maintaining an organised and productive workshop environment.
