Bonafide Human Capital is seeking a Workshop Foreman for our automotive dealer client in Sandton. The role requires a qualified mechanic and the ability to supervise a workshop team to deliver quality repairs and service.

The successful candidate will ensure adherence to manufacturer policies, optimize use of materials and labour, and maintain high customer satisfaction, safety, and equipment standards in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified mechanic.
• Ability to supervise a labour workforce and maintain safety.
• Ability to discuss and negotiate solutions with customers.
• Ability to keep technical knowledge up to date.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians, apprentices, and workshop staff to ensure quality repairs.
• Ensure repair work follows manufacturer policies and procedures.
• Ensure cost-effective use of materials, equipment and labour.
• Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor progress through the workshop.
• Record chargeable materials on job cards for invoicing.
• Maintain inventory security and document handling.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are observed.
