Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Transactor Team Lead to steer a team responsible for originating, structuring and executing banking transactions. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, improving client experience, and maintaining competitive market positioning within the South African banking sector.

The ideal candidate will lead deal origination efforts, ensure timely credit assessments, and collaborate with multiple internal departments to deliver tailored financing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in a related field.
• 9 to 11 years' experience in Banking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the origination and execution of transactions for new clients to the bank.
• Lead and develop a team of Transactors to deliver client plans and achieve revenue targets.
• Coordinate with Credit, Legal, Distribution and other internal stakeholders to structure financing solutions.
• Maintain client relationships, source new business opportunities and manage risk in deal execution.
