Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 10+ years designing and implementing telecom networks and architectures.
• Expert in mobile (2G/3G/4G/5G), fixed-line (FTTx), and IP networking.
• Experience leading complex enterprise or service-provider solutions.
• Familiarity with VMware, KVM, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of complex telecommunications systems, encompassing core network, transport, and access technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop detailed solution designs, proposals, and technical documentation for diverse client engagements and internal projects.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors to meet architectural requirements, ensuring interoperability and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Conduct technical reviews, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies for proposed solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, SDN/NFV, IoT, cloud-native architectures), and competitive landscape.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications network design, architecture, and implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of mobile network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G), fixed-line networks (FTTx), and IP networking.
• Proven experience with solutions architecture for complex enterprise or service provider environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, signaling, and service enablement platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing decisions at all levels.
• Experience with SDN/NFV and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
