Job summary

Super Group International is seeking an Systems Operations Lead to drive delivery and performance of the Systems Operations team. You will coach the team, promote automation, and ensure cost-aware, reliable infrastructure aligned with business needs.

You will own governance and compliance, partner with PMO and architecture teams, and manage budgets while driving continuous improvement in a dynamic gaming technology environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating within governance and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOX, or similar standards
• A Relevant IT tertiary qualification and Microsoft Certifications
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Information Technology industry using Microsoft Technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot in a timely and effective manner
• Ability to convey complex problems to Business stakeholders in an easy and efficient way
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience leading and managing technical teams
• Experience driving infrastructure modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery and performance of the Systems Operations team
• Coach and develop the team to reach their full potential
• Promote automation within the team through upskilling initiatives and KPIs
• Identify and promptly resolve obstacles impacting performance, delivery or development
• Use Confluence as the central knowledge repository for infrastructure documentation
• Collaborate with Solutions Delivery Manager to understand business requirements
• Align technology solutions with business needs across Infra teams
• Partner with the PMO to manage project delivery, resources and forecasting
• Analyze budgets and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Forecast hardware requirements and coordinate with Solutions Delivery Manager
• Maintain intercompany budgeting and cost allocation reporting
• Ensure vendor contracts and procurement align with financial plans
• Maintain governance and compliance reporting (ISO 27001, SOX)
