Job summary

Absa is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst embedded within a DevOps team to elicit, define and document business requirements across multiple stakeholders. You will translate these requirements into actionable user stories and support testing frameworks to ensure delivery aligns with business value and risk considerations.

You will build relationships with Tribe Leads, create roadmaps, and define acceptance criteria and success measures for features across data, systems, and processes.

• Lead the analysis process for complex business areas.
• Proactively build relationships, apply analytical techniques to elicit and validate business (product & service) needs ahead of demand.
• Translate elicited needs and knowledge acquired into user story format for DevOps teams.
• Prepare and prioritise the backlog of requirements for the user stories linked to proposed solutions.
• Define measures of success & key outcomes and acceptance criteria for features.
• Work with Tribe Leads to build a roadmap & vision for products and services.
