Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer focused on .NET Core in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will lead a team of developers, guide architecture, and drive the delivery of enterprise applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core MVC, and modern front-end tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Expertise in C# and the .NET Core framework.
• Strong experience with web technologies, including ASP.NET Core MVC, Web APIs, and Entity Framework Core.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
