Job summary

The Project Company seeks a Senior Site Manager for a 500+ MW Solar PV and 500+ MWh BESS project in Botswana. You will be the on-site lead, coordinating the EPC contractor, OE and LTA, ensuring design conformance, safety, and timely progress.

Required is a strong electrical background with 8+ years on large-scale projects, and willingness to relocate for the project duration. Permanent, site-based role with extensive on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• At least 8 years in construction/site management of large utility-scale projects.
• Experience coordinating EPC, OE and LTA teams on complex solar+battery sites preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Botswana for the project duration and maintain site presence.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal site representative, coordinating EPC contractor, OE and LTA.
• Lead all site operations across civil, electrical, mechanical and commissioning.
• Reconcile IFC designs with on-site conditions and manage RFIs/field changes.
• Maintain safety culture and ensure conformance to safety standards and permits.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedule and report to project leadership.
• Direct testing, commissioning, and handover activities for all systems.
