Job summary

Placements24 seeks a qualified Site Installation Engineer to lead on-site installations of specialized equipment in and around Sandton. You will plan, supervise and execute installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while coordinating with site teams and clients.

The role requires an engineering degree or equivalent, strong installation experience, and excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
Significant experience in site installation, preferably in an engineering capacity.
Strong knowledge of installation methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage on-site installation activities for complex equipment and systems.
Supervise installation crews and ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.
Perform quality checks and testing to verify installation integrity and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and site‑specific requirements.
Prepare detailed installation reports and documentation upon project completion.
