Placements24 invites a seasoned Lead Reservoir Geologist to join the client’s team in the Vereeniging region, overseeing regional operations and beyond. You will interpret subsurface data, build geological models, and identify exploration and development opportunities.

You will mentor junior geologists and collaborate with reservoir engineers to optimize field development, with autonomy and a strong focus on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology or related Earth Science.
• Minimum 9 years of reservoir geology experience with focus on Oil & Gas exploration and development.
• Expertise in seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and geological modeling tools.
• Proven ability to lead geological teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, and structural geology.

Responsibilities
