Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead renewable energy development projects in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will manage feasibility, site acquisition, construction, and commissioning to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in project management for renewable energy, strong leadership and stakeholder skills, and familiarity with PMP/Agile methodologies. The role includes site visits and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in project management with a focus on renewable energy projects.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects from conception to completion.
• Knowledge of PMP, Agile methodologies and related PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end management of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.).
• Develop detailed project plans, scope, budgets and timelines and track progress.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance.
• Manage relationships with landowners, government agencies, contractors, and community representatives.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Secure permits and approvals, and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
